It seems as though every year there is a new product or diet fad that hits the market.
They always promise to be the best thing since sliced bread & guarantee that you'll drop inches and pounds just by looking at it!  Ha!

Well, if you're like me, you're skeptical and like to look at everything closely and read others reviews.  Perhaps you've been burned by products & promises in the past, or you've tried just about everything out there with minimal success.

Whatever the case may be, follow along as I dive more into 'The Red Tea Detox'
First of all, I look for credibility.  Where did the product or program come from?  Who is behind it?
Liz Swann Miller, creator of The Red Tea Detox, is a six-time best-selling author with over 10 years of experience as a practicing Naturopath (ND).  She has degrees in both Psychology and Naturopathy. Elizabeth, herself, has lost a total of 41 pounds thanks to the red tea.
Ok, so what is this Red Tea, and what supposedly makes it so good for detoxification & weight loss?

Based off of a recipe from ingredients found in Africa, it has many unique benefits. First off, this tea claims to suppress your appetite, so you simply won’t be craving as many harmful foods, and you won’t feel the need to eat as much. It also helps your body to produce more fat-burning hormones naturally, which makes your body a fat-burning furnace without you having to do much of anything other than enjoy the tea.
Rooibos, also known as red tea, is high in antioxidants. The antioxidants contained in rooibos – aspalathin and nothofagin – are comparatively rare, and help to regulate blood sugar, reduce excessive fat production, stress, and inhibit metabolic disorders.
Research has shown that components found in the rooibos plant, such as polyphenols and flavonoids, inhibit the formation of new fat cells by 22 percent. The tea significantly lowers dangerous fat found in the blood, such as triglyceride concentrations.
Unlike green tea, red tea does not contain caffeine, and therefore drinking the blend at night won’t leave you restless!
